The women included in this resource are: Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth and Anne Frank. Students may have heard those names before, but do they understand the impact they made on the world today? Sometimes students just need a day of movement around the room! This Escape Room has students walking around the classroom reading about historical women and breaking codes. Students are given a secret code name and sent on a secret mission to save their history project! The codes include ciphers, Morse code, cryptograms and a final 4 digit lock combination based on the decoders/clues. Each clue and code is different. The codes require students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Some codes are easier than others. Some codes require critical thinking to determine what a letter/symbol stands for. Each code will reveal interesting facts about four important historical women. The use of secret code will keep your students engaged while competing to find the final 4 digit combination. No props needed!! Students can report the final lock combination to you. If you wanted to, you could purchase a 4 digit lock that you program, but is not necessary at all! The Growth Mindset Escape Rooms 4 Pack BUNDLE will take students on 4 separate secret missions around the classroom! The escape rooms have students decode inspiring quotes from famous figures, past and present, about growth mindset. Sometimes students just need a day of motivation or positive affirmation! Maybe it’s before a big state test or maybe it’s after they have worked so hard and achieved the results you were hoping for. Maybe it’s just the right activity to do with them to encourage their journeys. I do one per quarter and they love them! The Growth Mindset Escape Rooms have students walking around the classroom breaking codes. Students are given a secret code name and sent on secret missions. The codes include ciphers, Morse code, cryptograms and a final 4 digit combination based on the decoders/clues. Each clue and code is different. The codes require students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Some codes are easier than others. Some codes require critical thinking to determine what a letter/symbol stands for. Each code will reveal an inspirational quote from a famous figure about growth mindset. The use of secret code will keep your students engaged while competing to find the final 4 digit combination. No props needed!! Students can report the final combination to you. If you wanted to, you could purchase a 4 digit lock that you program, but it is not necessary at all! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about the history of the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. This is the perfect resource to introduce the Battle of Puebla. The Cinco de Mayo Escape Room has students walking around the classroom breaking codes. Students are given a secret code name and sent on a secret mission to help Tonya share her Mexican culture. The codes include ciphers, Morse code, cryptograms and a final 4 digit code based on the decoders/clues. Each clue and code is different. The codes require students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Some codes require critical thinking to determine what a letter/symbol stands for. Back to School Doodle Stations Activity-About Me Icebreaker: This super-colorful Back to School doodle activity is a great way to learn about your students and build community. It’s a fun, creative, colorful, collaborative “All About Me” icebreaker activity! This the perfect Back to School activity that allows students to visit stations, color, follow directions, use their creativity and learn about their classmates. The Back to School “About Me” doodle coloring page is set up for six different stations. At each station students answer a question. The answer to their question will involve colorful codes. For example, if they have a dog, they may color in red. If they have a bird, they may color in the doodle with green. If they have a cat, they may color in purple stripes. Each answer has it’s own color code. Colored pencils, crayons, or markers will be needed to complete this activity. This resource will work for multiple grade levels or subjects! Students will color in answers about their family, hobbies, food, pets, job ideas and colors. The end result is a fun, colorful bulletin board idea, a chain link display, 3D cubes or art to hang around the room. Icebreaker Fun: After students finish the six station rotation they can present their colorful doodle artwork to a classmate. The classmate will then analyze or decode the colors to learn about their new friend. A worksheet is provided for students to fill in what they learned about two to four classmates based on the colors used in their doodle.

This super-colorful Halloween Box or Halloween Chain Link activity is a great way to celebrate the holiday! It’s fun, creative, colorful and interactive! The Halloween designs are sure to be a hit at school and at home! Students will color the box or link of their choice! An exciting Halloween craftivity that’s sure to engage all your students! This product covers a range of ages and abilities. Some designs are simple for younger students while others are more detailed for older students. This product includes: •18 Halloween Box Templates •6 Halloween Chain Link Designs (See preview for examples) I like to make multiple copies of each box or chain link design and let the students choose which design they want to work with. Materials Needed: Printer paper or cardstock Scissors Glue, tape or glue sticks Crayons, markers or colored pencils **For best results, print box designs on cardstock. Please note that this is a basic box template and does not include written directions. I believe they are self explanatory.
